Islamabad: Pakistan has become one of the top 10 countries implementing FATF standards, after which there is a strong possibility of Pakistan getting out of the gray list.
According to sources, the FATF meeting will be held from October 17 to October 21. According to the sources, there is a strong possibility that Pakistan will come out of FATF’s gray list on October 21 as Pakistan has fulfilled all the FATF conditions.
The FATF team visited Pakistan from the last week of August to the first week of September. According to the sources, FATF’s technical team had returned satisfied with Pakistan’s actions and the team had met all the relevant authorities.
Sources said the FATF review team aimed to gauge the political will to implement the rules. A press conference will be held in Paris on October 21 at the end of the FATF meeting.
