Pakistan to skip India-chaired SCO Chief Justice meet

Islamabad: Pakistan has decided not to participate in the meeting of the Chief Justices of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to be held in India.

Spokesperson of Foreign Office Mumtaz Zahra Baloch says that the Chief Justice of Pakistan will not attend the conference of Chief Justices of Shanghai countries on March 10-12, 2023 in New Delhi due to his unavoidable engagements.

The Spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that as an active member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Pakistan regularly participates in all the activities of the organization and plays a constructive role in its results. However, the Chief Justice will not be able to participate in the dates of the conference due to his busy schedule.

India has also invited Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to the meeting of foreign ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Goa in May this year.
