PCB Releases Schedule for Remainder of PSL 10 matches

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the revised schedule for the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 10), following a temporary suspension due to heightened regional tensions.

The much-anticipated return of the tournament will begin on May 17, when Karachi Kings face off against Peshawar Zalmi at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, marking the league’s re-entry into its decisive phase.

Rawalpindi will host a double-header on May 18 — the Quetta Gladiators will take on Multan Sultans in the afternoon fixture, followed by Peshawar Zalmi battling Lahore Qalandars in the evening. The venue’s final match will be played on May 19, with Islamabad United, the defending champions, squaring off against Karachi Kings.

The playoff stage will then move to Lahore’s iconic Gaddafi Stadium, which is set to host the Qualifier on May 21, Eliminator 1 on May 22, and Eliminator 2 on May 23. The grand finale of PSL 10 will take place on May 25 at the same venue.

According to the PCB, all evening matches are scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM PST, while the only afternoon fixture — on May 18 — will commence at 3:30 PM PST. Ticketing details will be announced in due course.

The PSL was paused earlier this season due to rising tensions between Pakistan and India, which led to the initial relocation of matches to the UAE. However, in light of national security concerns and on the directive of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the PCB opted to suspend the tournament altogether until it was deemed safe to resume.

At the time of suspension, 27 matches had been completed. The Quetta Gladiators currently top the points table with six wins, two losses, and one no-result from nine games — securing their spot in the playoffs.

Following closely are the Karachi Kings in second place and Islamabad United in third, both with 10 points. Lahore Qalandars hold fourth with nine points, while Peshawar Zalmi remain in playoff contention in fifth place with eight points. Multan Sultans, with just one win from nine matches, have been eliminated from the tournament.

Revised PSL 10 Schedule:

  • May 17: Karachi Kings vs. Peshawar Zalmi

  • May 18 (Afternoon): Quetta Gladiators vs. Multan Sultans

  • May 18 (Evening): Peshawar Zalmi vs. Lahore Qalandars

  • May 19: Islamabad United vs. Karachi Kings

  • May 21: Qualifier

  • May 22: Eliminator 1

  • May 23: Eliminator 2
