President Alvi confers awards on high achievers on momentous day

Islamabad: On the occasion of Pakistan Day, President Dr. Arif Alvi has awarded civil honors to domestic and foreign personalities for outstanding services in various fields.

According to the official news agency APP, a grand ceremony of distribution of civil honors was held here on Thursday in the President’s House in which First Lady Begum Samina Arif Alvi, federal ministers, civil and military officials from various walks of life were present. Important personalities participated. During the ceremony, Nishan Imtiaz, Hilal Imtiaz, Tagha Imtiaz, Hilal Pakistan, Hilal Quaid-e-Azam, Satara Shujaat, Satara Imtiaz, Presidential Award for Good Performance, Tagha Shujaat and Tagha Khit were awarded to the personalities who have rendered outstanding services in various fields.

Sartaj Aziz Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo late, late Justice (retd) Rana Bhagwan Das, Ahmed Ghulam Ali Changla (deceased) are among the recipients of Nishan Imtiaz. Sufi Ghulam Mustafa Tabasim (deceased), Muhammad Qavi Khan (deceased), Jahangir Khan and John Sher Khan were also included.
