President Alvi felicitates Nation, Muslim Ummah on new year

Islamabad: In a heartfelt New Year message, President Dr Arif Alvi extended warm felicitations to the Pakistani Nation, the Muslim Ummah, and the international community as 2024 commenced. Expressing his hopes for the upcoming year, he prayed for prosperity, political stability, and economic well-being for Pakistan and the world at large.

President Alvi, while acknowledging the challenges faced by various regions, emphasized the plight of the people in Palestine enduring brutal attacks by Israeli forces. Urging the international community to intervene and halt the ongoing genocide in Gaza, he advocated for concerted efforts towards achieving a just and lasting peace in Palestine.

Additionally, the President expressed solidarity with the people of the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir, highlighting the atrocities and prolonged siege imposed by Indian occupation forces. He called upon the global community to take practical measures in line with UN resolutions to address longstanding disputes, fostering global peace and security.

President Alvi’s message also extended to the Muslim Ummah, urging unity and harmony while collectively addressing the challenges faced by the community.
