KARACHI: President Dr Arif Alvi inquired after the health of police and Rangers personnel injured in the operation against terrorists at the Karachi Police Office (KPO) last night.
All three militants were killed and four people, including two policemen and a Sindh Rangers sub-inspector, embraced martyrdom in the nearly four-hour operation.
Banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has claimed the responsibility for the attack.
The president visited Jinnah Hospital on Saturday, said a press release from the President Secretariat Press Wing.
He went to each bed and inquired about the health of the injured personnel. President Alvi also lauded their valour.
He paid tribute to the sacrifices of the forces and commended the forces for fighting with bravery.
President Alvi prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
