Peshawar: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Friday announced its new office bearers for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to rebuild the party structure in the province.
According to a release, former senior minister Atif Khan has been appointed chairman for Peshawar region, while former provincial minister Kamran Bangash will take over as secretary general.
Former federal minister for religious affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri will lead the party in the merged districts of the former Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), while former MNA from Kurram, Fakhar Zaman Khan, will take over as general secretary.
For the Hazara region, Babar Swati, a former adviser to the prime minister, will serve as chairman, while former provincial minister Akbar Ayub Khan will take over as secretary general.
Former National Assembly member (MNA) from Karak, Shahid Khattak, has been appointed chairman for the southern districts of the province, while Sajid Iqbal has been appointed secretary general.
Former provincial assembly member Fazal Hakim was elected president for Malakand region. Sahibzada Sibghatullah, former MNA from Upper Dir, was appointed secretary general.
