PTI founder Imran Khan has called for a major protest in Islamabad on November 24, urging supporters to rally against the ruling coalition. Imran’s sister, Aleema Khan, announced the date, with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur saying there will be “no turning back” until their demands are met.
Speaking to reporters, Imran’s lawyer, Faisal Chaudhry, described this as Imran’s “final call” for protests, with PTI’s entire leadership expected to participate. The protests are set to happen not only in Islamabad but across Pakistan and internationally where PTI supporters are present.
Chaudhry shared that the PTI founder formed a committee for the protest, keeping members’ names confidential to avoid arrests. The party’s main demands include withdrawing the 26th Constitutional Amendment, restoring PTI’s mandate, and releasing detained PTI workers.
Aleema Khan also highlighted that Imran’s message to Pakistanis is to decide if they want to live under martial law or choose freedom.
