PTI govt will end from Punjab in January, briefing to PM

Lahore: A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in which he was briefed that the Tehreek-e-Insaf government will end in Punjab next month.

According to the sources, in the important meeting, the reinstatement of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi as Chief Minister from the Lahore High Court and the subsequent situation were considered. In the meeting, the Prime Minister was told that the Chief Minister of Punjab does not have enough votes of confidence.

In the meeting of the senior leadership of PML-N, Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, Federal Minister of Law Nazir Tarar, Special Assistants of Prime Minister Malik Ahmed Khan and Attaullah Tarar, in addition to PML-N Leader and Federal Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema participated. In which the overall situation of the entire country, especially the current political situation of Punjab, was discussed in detail.

In the meeting, the constitutional order to take the vote of confidence on the Chief Minister of Punjab from the Governor was also considered. According to party sources, the Prime Minister was told in the briefing that no matter how much the Chief Minister delays the issue, he will have to take a vote of confidence in any case, while the Chief Minister of Punjab does not have enough numbers to take a vote of confidence. .

In the meeting, during the briefing to the Prime Minister, it was claimed that the PTI government will end in Punjab in January if the vote of confidence is not taken.

During the meeting, Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah also presented the preliminary report regarding the car blast in Islamabad yesterday to the Prime Minister.
