PTI seeks permission for rally at Rawalpindi’s Liaquat Bagh

Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has formally requested permission to hold a rally at Liaquat Bagh in Rawalpindi on April 19. PTI’s North Punjab President, Seemabia Tahir Satti, has penned a letter to the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Rawalpindi, seeking approval for the rally.

In her application, Satti emphasized her commitment to upholding the rule of law and the supremacy of the constitution in Pakistan. She highlighted PTI’s significant voter support, citing her own electoral success with over 100,000 votes in the recent general elections held on February 8. Asserting PTI’s status as the nation’s leading political party, she reiterated the party’s right to organize rallies and public gatherings, while maintaining compliance with legal requirements.
