PTI senators decided to boycott joint session of Parliament

Islamabad: Senators of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf have decided to boycott the joint session of the Parliament to be held on Tuesday and have informed all the senators about the decision.

According to Leadign News, no PTI senator will participate in the joint session of Parliament at 3 pm Tuesday, despite this, the 21-point agenda of the joint session of Parliament is going on.

In the joint meeting, the Pakistan Nursing Council Amendment Bill will be presented for approval, which will be presented by Dr. Mehreen Razak Bhutto, Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences. While Murtaza Javed Abbasi will present the PAPERA Amendment Bill 2022 and the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council Bill 2022 will also be presented for approval.

During the meeting, Senator Sherry Rehman will present the Global Change Impact Study Center Amendment Bill for approval, while Prime Minister Nazir Tarar will present the Parental Protection Bill.

State Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) will be presented for approval by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in the joint session of Parliament and Pakistan Global Institute Bill 2022 will be presented by Education Minister Rana Tanveer for approval.

Parliamentary sources say that the bill to prohibit interest on private loans in Islamabad will be presented in the joint session for approval, and the bill to make immunization mandatory and protect health workers in the federal capital will also be presented. Razak Bhutto will introduce a bill to repeal the Federal Medical Teaching Institute Act, 2021.
