Lahore: 9 former ministers and members of Punjab Assembly of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have come under anti-corruption radar.
Alleged misappropriation of 30 crore rupees in the construction and repair of roads by former ministers and members of Punjab Assembly of Tehreek-e-Insaf has been revealed.
Sources says that the former ministers and members of Tehreek-e-Insaf along with the Chief Engineer Highway embezzled crores of rupees in funds for the construction and repair of roads. Anti-corruption Punjab has summoned 9 former ministers and MPs of Tehreek-e-Insaf on March 28.
The Anti-corruption has summoned the ministers and members of the assembly including former member of assembly Chaudhry Adil Parvez Gujjar, provincial minister Ajmal Cheema, Chaudhry Zaheer.
The Former provincial minister Chaudhry Zaheeruddin, former MPA Malik Umar Farooq, former MPA Chaudhry Ali Akhtar, former provincial minister Khyal Castro, former MPA Mian Waris, former MPA Muhammad Latif Nazir, Muhammad Shakeel Shahid are also anti Corruption has called for an inquiry. Axion Highway Sarmad Akhtar Langriyal has been summoned by anti-corruption on March 17.
All former ministers and MPs jointly wrote a letter for the posting of Executive Engineer Highway Sarmad Akhtar Langriyal. In the name of toll plaza, millions of rupees were embezzled with the connivance of contractors.
