DUBAI: Royal Spartans U14 defeated Desert Cubs U14 by 24 runs in the final to clinch the Gulf Cup cricket title.
Batting first, Royal Spartans U14 scored 137 for the loss of six wickets. They then bowled and field brilliantly to skittle out Desert Cubs U14 for just 113 to become the champions.
Leading the charge was Sanjith Ram, who first contributed valuable 64 runs and then affected three run outs. He was later adjudged Player of the Match.
Siddhart Manoj and Jaidev Gattani’s mature bowling skills contributed significantly, each claiming 2 wickets.
Captain Fatthur Rahman, the epitome of composure, led from the front, inspiring and motivating the team throughout the tournament.
