Islamabad- In a recent operation in the Ursoon area of Chitral district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistani security forces successfully thwarted a potential terrorist threat, resulting in the elimination of at least seven terrorists and the critical injury of six others. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed the incident in a press release issued on Sunday.
The ISPR stated that Pakistani troops engaged the terrorists’ location effectively, initiating an intense exchange of fire that led to the neutralization of the threat. In addition to the casualties, the area is currently undergoing a sanitization process to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining terrorists.
