National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has decided to invite Imran Khan to be part fo the golden jubilee celebrations for the passing of the 1973 constitution.
The Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Constitution will begin this week, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will be the Chief Guest of the main event. Leaders of all political parties will be invited by the Speaker.
Sources told that Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf has decided to invite Chairman PTI Imran Khan as well. The former prime minister will be invited as party chief.
Sources in the Speaker’s office said that Imran Khan comes himself or sends his representative, it will be his choice.
Invitations will be issued to the heads of all political and parliamentary parties including Imran Khan this week.
