Islamabad: The top leaders of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) gathered on Friday, expressing great satisfaction with the progress made so far. The 9th meeting, chaired by Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, highlighted the success of the ‘Whole of Government Approach’ in achieving envisioned goals.
The meeting included key figures such as the Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir , caretaker federal cabinet members, caretaker provincial chief ministers, and other high-level officials. Ministries presented updates on projects and policies, outlining plans to attract more investments. The Apex Committee praised steps taken to create a sustainable environment for attracting investments, focusing on cross-sector policies, human resource development, infrastructure improvement, and domestic dispute resolution.

The Apex committee Special Investment Facilitation Council of also reviewed progress in economic engagements with friendly countries and approved the Strategic Canals Vision 2030 and FBR Reforms. The Chief of the Army Staff affirmed the Pakistan Army’s commitment to supporting the government’s economic stability initiatives.
In conclusion, the caretaker prime minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar acknowledged the role of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), ministries, and affiliated stakeholders in achieving significant economic milestones.
