Rawalpindi: In a decisive intelligence-based operation conducted on Friday, security forces successfully neutralized five terrorists in the Malazai area of Tank district, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The ISPR disclosed that the eliminated militants were actively engaged in various terrorist activities, including attacks against security forces, extortion, and target killings of citizens. Furthermore, intelligence reports indicated their sinister plans to carry out attacks on crucial installations and public places.

During the operation, security forces also recovered a significant cache of weapons and ammunition from the terrorists’ hideout. Currently, a thorough sanitization operation is in progress to eliminate any potential remaining threats in the area, as stated by the ISPR.
The ISPR emphasized the unwavering commitment of the security forces to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country and ensure lasting peace and stability for the citizens.
