Peshawar: Opposition parties in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have called a meeting tonight after PTI Chairman Imran Khan announced his resignation from the provincial assemblies.
According to the sources, the meeting of the opposition parties will be held at the residence of the leader of the opposition, Akram Khan Durrani.
In the meeting, other options will be considered, including submitting a no-confidence motion against the Chief Minister. Parliamentary leaders and opposition members have been invited to attend the meeting.
It should be noted that yesterday, former Prime Minister Imran Khan announced his resignation from the provincial assemblies while addressing a rally in Rawalpindi. He said that now we have decided not to be a part of this system and leave the assemblies, the date of which will be announced after consultation with the parliamentary party.
