Zardari’s proposal to approach court to stop dissolution of PA

Lahore: Former President and Co-Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party Asif Zardari proposed to approach the court to stop the dissolution of Punjab Assembly.

Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Nawaz Sharif had a telephone conversation with Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Asif Ali Zardari after Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi signed the summary of dissolution of the provincial assembly.

PML-N sources said that the three major leaders of PDM had a consultation on the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly, on which former President Asif Ali Zardari suggested approaching the court to stop the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly.

Nawaz Sharif also suggested to call the summit meeting of PDM immediately on this issue.
