In the third and final match of the one-day series played at the National Stadium, Karachi, New Zealand achieved the target of 281 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the 49th over.
For New Zealand, Glenn Phillips scored 63 runs off 42 balls with the help of 4 sixes and 4 fours.
Skipper Kane Williamson was dismissed for 53 and Devon Conway for 52. Daryl Mitchell returned to the pavilion after scoring 31 runs.
On behalf of Pakistan, Salman Agha and Muhammad Wasim took 2, 2 wickets while Muhammad Nawaz and Osama Mir took 1, 1 wicket.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Pakistan scored 280 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.
Initially, the performance of Pakistan batsmen was disappointing.
