Dubai: Her Excellency Aisha Miran, Director General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) in Dubai, inaugurated the Elite Education Gateway 2025 Exhibition, in the presence of His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA), and several senior officials and education leaders.
Among the distinguished attendees were Brigadier Dr. Sultan Abdulhamid Al Jamal, Director of the Dubai Police Academy; Brigadier Dr. Bassem Hassan Al Naqbi, Deputy Director of the Officers College at the Sharjah Police Science Academy; Mr. Butti Al Kindi, President of the Canadian University Dubai; and Mrs. Isobel Abulhoul, Founder and Advisor of the Emirates Literature Foundation, along with a large number of academics and experts from the education sector.

The exhibition aims to empower students by connecting them with diverse academic opportunities and guiding them toward future-oriented educational and career pathways. This year’s edition features 20 local and 8 international universities, including several ranked among the world’s top 200, showcasing over 200 global academic programs.
A special International Admissions Corner offers advisory services and registration support for students aspiring to study abroad. The exhibition also includes academic and language assessments, career counseling sessions, and opportunities for part-time employment and tuition discounts from participating institutions.

Speaking on the occasion, Lt. Gen. Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri emphasized that the event reflects GDRFA Dubai’s strong commitment to fostering education and innovation as key pillars of a sustainable, knowledge-based future.
“We take pride in initiatives that enable Emirati youth to shape their academic and professional paths with awareness and ambition. Investing in minds is the most valuable investment in the future of Dubai and the UAE,” he said.
H.E. Aisha Miran highlighted the collaboration between KHDA and GDRFA Dubai as an example of government entities working together to prepare future generations in line with Dubai’s 2033 Plan and the Dubai Education Strategy 2033.
“Such initiatives enhance students’ awareness and open doors to global learning opportunities, in line with the leadership’s vision to empower future generations through knowledge, education, and guidance,” she stated.
The event also features the second edition of the Scientific Research Award and the Inspiring Teacher initiative, recognizing outstanding educators with certificates of appreciation.
Held at GDRFA Dubai’s headquarters from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the exhibition serves as a unified platform for students to explore academic opportunities and begin their journey toward a promising future. The initiative underscores GDRFA Dubai’s ongoing commitment to building a knowledge-driven society anchored in innovation, excellence, and lifelong learning, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a city that empowers ambition and shapes the future through education.
