Bilawal Plans Asif Zardari for President After Elections

Karachi: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the head of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), announced that Asif Zardari will be the PPP’s candidate for president after the upcoming elections.

Expressing surprise and sadness, Bilawal commented on the court’s decision in the Iddat marriage case involving Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi, saying, “We shouldn’t go to extremes in politics.”

After the announcement regarding Asif Zardari, Bilawal also shared that PPP will nominate candidates for prime minister, senate chairman, and National Assembly speaker positions.

Talking about other political parties, Bilawal mentioned that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz is losing support nationwide, and he dismissed Maryam Nawaz’s ambitions, calling them mere dreams.

Accusing the Muttahida Qaumi Movement of resorting to violent politics due to anticipated defeat, Bilawal urged for fair play in the political arena.

Commenting on Toshakhana and cipher cases, Bilawal clarified his stance. He expressed sadness over the Iddat marriage case’s verdict, emphasizing the need to avoid extreme measures in politics.

Expressing concerns about potential election rigging, Bilawal referred to it as the “season of fog,” emphasizing the importance of a fair and transparent electoral process.

As Pakistan gears up for the upcoming elections, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s statements shed light on PPP’s plans and underscore the need for a balanced and fair political environment.
