Islamabad: The Election Commission has postponed the by-elections on 37 National Assembly seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Islamabad.
According to Leading News, the Election Commission postponed the by-elections to the seats of the National Assembly in various provinces, by-elections were postponed in 24 constituencies of the National Assembly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 3 constituencies of the National Assembly in Islamabad.
According to the Election Commission, the by-elections in one seat of the National Assembly of Balochistan and 9 constituencies of the National Assembly of Sindh have also been postponed.
The Election Commission has said that the by-elections were postponed upon court decision.
It should be noted that the Election Commission had issued a schedule for holding the by-elections on March 16 and 19.
