Nawaz wants an army chief who disqualifies me, Imran Khan

Lahore: Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has said that the government wants to bring the army on par with the Punjab Police, the proposed amendment to the Army Act will be challenged in the Supreme Court.

In an informal conversation with senior journalists, Imran Khan said that the current government is amending the Army Act for its own benefit, by amending the Army Act it wants to bring the armed forces at par with the Punjab Police. It will be challenged in the higher judiciary.

On his health, he said that my doctors will examine me tomorrow and give their opinion after which I will lead the long march from Rawalpindi myself.

He said on Arshad Sharif’s murder case that the cruelty of Arshad Sharif’s case is in front of everyone, in Tosha Khana case he gave me the opportunity to go to court. I will file a case against private TV in UK and US courts.

Imran Khan said that NAB was controlled not by me but by some powerful institutions, it was not the job of DGISI to lecture the Prime Minister on economics.

He said that I had no meeting with Army Chief General Bajwa in Lahore, President Arif Alvi had a meeting with Army Chief, the agenda of the meeting was early transparent elections.

On the assassination attack on him, Imran Khan said that the main accused of Wazirabad was presented to the court after fourteen days, I am afraid that the evidence will not be lost in these fourteen days.

The former prime minister said that Q-League is our ally and the best alliance is going on with Pervaiz Elahi, the biggest obstacle in the registration of the case was former IG Punjab.

He said that I tried my best to stop rigging of EVM machines in the elections while Nawaz Zardari Election Commission and Handles were on the same page on the issue of EVMs.

Imran Khan further said that if I get full powers, I will become the prime minister. It is not possible that the powers are with someone and the responsibility is with someone else, there is no negotiation with anyone.
