Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that earlier they used to say dissolve the assemblies, we are ready for elections, when we announced the dissolution of the assemblies, not one but two movements came, if elections are not held soon, the country will be destroyed. will go and the matter will be out of everyone’s hands.
Addressing the PTI protesters outside Governor House Punjab through video link, Imran Khan said that 8 months ago, a person committed atrocities on Pakistan which no enemy can do. Where the country has reached today and the darkness it is in has never happened in 70 years.
He said that a man was enmity with us and put the whole nation in trouble, because of that man I started to feel that I was an enemy of the country and a traitor and our only fault was that we did not recognize the band of thieves. While the people came and stood with us, that man was also aware of all this scene and conditions, but he was not worried.
Imran Khan said that Arshad Sharif knew about that one man, that man is determined to disqualify me, while journalists and social media activists who wrote in our support were brutally tortured. Then there was an attempt to derail me and decided to end PTI but it failed.
Chairman PTI Chairman said that after the American withdrawal from Afghanistan, we controlled the situation, but today terrorism has spread to Malakand, Waziristan and Bannu, our foreign policy is zero despite spending two billion rupees. The Foreign Minister has not yet visited Afghanistan.
Imran Khan said that “We had spent billions of rupees to erect a fence between the Pakistan-Afghan border, which is being demolished, but no voice is being raised from our side because there is no foreign policy”.
He said that once the people stood up for bread, cloth and houses and now they have stood up again, nothing will happen until we fight this war and establish justice and law in the country. Imran Khan said that the federal government is holding Pakhtunkhwa responsible for terrorism while the provincial government has not been given a share of money, similarly funds have not been given to Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Chairman PTI has said that there is a need to spend money in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and create new posts in the police department because that way we can control terrorism, if not done and God forbid terrorism spreads, then all It will be out of our hands.
He said that it is our constitutional right to dissolve the Punjab Assembly, but they have staged a show, Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari are afraid of the election because they know that the nation will reject it in the election, while the only way to get the country out of the quagmire. The way is clear and transparent elections.
Imran Khan further said that we decided to topple our provincial governments in view of the fear that if elections are not held soon in this country, the country will be out of everyone’s hands due to rapid destruction. Addressing the institutions, the judiciary and the military establishment, he said that this is not only Imran Khan’s war, but all of us, but this is not his war, whose money and assets are lying outside the country.
