Over 211,000 Undocumented Immigrants Return Home via Torkham border

Peshawar: The repatriation of undocumented immigrants is in full swing, with a staggering 211,969 illegal foreigners returning through the Torkham border. The initiative, managed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Home Department, has seen the return of 17,645 families, comprising 59,703 males, 46,687 women, and 105,579 children.

As of November 14, a total of 535 families, including 638 males, 587 women, and 1,095 children, chose to voluntarily return via the Torkham border. Simultaneously, 392 illegal foreigners were deported through the same border with the provision of free transport services.

The ongoing repatriation efforts underline a collaborative approach to address immigration concerns, emphasizing the safe and organized return of individuals to their home countries. The statistics reveal a diverse demographic, highlighting the inclusion of families and children in the repatriation process.
