Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called the completion of CPEC projects within the specified period as a national priority and gave instructions to speed up the work.
A review meeting was held on the progress of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and other Chinese projects under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister, in which Shahbaz Sharif said that the Main Line One project is a game changer for Pakistan.
He further said that ML-1 project is the flagship project of CPEC, Main Line-1 project will play an important role in the development of the country’s economy.
The Prime Minister said that rail connectivity with Central Asian states will lead to the development and prosperity of the entire region. Shahbaz Sharif welcomed the interest of Chinese companies in investing in solar energy projects.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that during the dark period of the last four years, CPEC projects are being completed. Karachi Circular Railway Project provided safe travel facilities.
