Dubai WoodShow 2026 Set to Spotlight AI-Driven Transformation in Global Timber Trade

Over 400 exhibitors from 45 countries to showcase automation, smart logistics, and digital supply chain solutions at Dubai World Trade Center

DUBAI: The global wood and woodworking machinery industry is preparing to converge in Dubai as the Dubai WoodShow 2026 opens in just three days, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and buyers to showcase the technologies reshaping the international timber trade.

The exhibition will take place from June 22 to 24, 2026, at the Dubai World Trade Center and is expected to host more than 400 exhibitors, over 600 international brands, five country pavilions, and participants from more than 45 countries.

Organizers say the event has become a key global platform for the wood industry, focusing on how innovation is transforming sourcing, processing, logistics, and trade across the entire value chain.

This year’s edition places strong emphasis on artificial intelligence, automation, smart logistics, and digital supply chain systems that are increasingly shaping how timber and wood products are managed globally. Exhibitors will present advanced machinery, automated processing systems, real-time tracking tools, and digital platforms designed to improve efficiency, visibility, and decision-making across supply chains.

Industry stakeholders note that rising supply chain complexity, shifting sourcing strategies, and the demand for faster and more transparent trade flows are accelerating the adoption of technology in the sector. The exhibition aims to address these challenges by showcasing solutions that enhance operational performance and streamline global timber movement.

The event also serves as a major business networking platform, providing exhibitors with direct access to buyers, manufacturers, and decision-makers seeking machinery, digital tools, and trade partnerships. Visitors will be able to explore innovations spanning automated production systems, warehouse technologies, logistics optimization tools, and traceability solutions across the wood industry.

Dubai’s growing role as a global trade hub is also expected to be highlighted during the event. With its advanced logistics infrastructure and strategic geographic position, the city continues to serve as a gateway connecting timber-producing regions with high-demand markets across Asia, Africa, and Europe.

Officials and industry participants say the Dubai WoodShow reinforces the emirate’s position as a leading center for international trade exhibitions, while providing a platform for companies to expand market access and strengthen cross-border partnerships.

As the industry continues to evolve, the exhibition is expected to underline the increasing role of technology in building a more efficient, resilient, and interconnected global wood trade ecosystem, with Dubai positioned at the center of this transformation.
