Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi’s son Rasakh Elahi appeared before the FIA on the summons notice in the money laundering case.
According to Leading News, Rasakh Elahi has submitted the required response to the FI while the FIA has also summoned the two daughters-in-law of the Chief Minister of Punjab.
The FIA had issued notices to appear in the money laundering case to other family members including Rasakh Elhi.
Chaudhary family members have been summoned for investigation of transfer of illegal funds by Punjab Assembly employee Qaiser Iqbal Bhatti in money laundering case and information and documents of money transfer abroad and foreign travel have also been sought.
The FIA has added the names of Rasakh Elahi, Zahra Elahi, Tahirim Elahi, Saira Anwar, Arshad Iqbal, Sambal Rehan and Iram Amin to the stop list.
