PML-N Endorses Shehbaz Sharif for Prime Minister candidate

Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the parliamentary party has officially thrown its support behind Shehbaz Sharif’s nomination for the Prime Minister candidate, alongside endorsing Sardar Ayaz Sadiq as the candidate for National Assembly speaker.

The announcement was made by PML-N supremo and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif during a gathering of party members. Nawaz Sharif underscored Shehbaz Sharif’s candidacy for the prime minister’s slot, highlighting his leadership qualities and dedication to advancing the party’s agenda.

Following Nawaz Sharif’s announcement, the parliamentary party unanimously endorsed nomination for Prime Minister candidate also for speaker National Assembly, signaling unity and solidarity within the party ranks.

Reflecting on PML-N’s past achievements, Nawaz Sharif emphasized the party’s commitment to serving the nation’s interests and called upon every member to play their part in steering Pakistan towards prosperity.

Speaking to reporters, Nawaz Sharif expressed confidence in the incoming government’s ability to address the country’s economic challenges effectively. He stressed the importance of economic stability in tackling various societal issues and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to prioritizing economic revival.

In line with democratic principles, Nawaz Sharif reiterated the party’s stance on ensuring the completion of assembly and senate members’ tenures, alongside the prime minister’s full term in office.

Addressing concerns surrounding the economy, Nawaz Sharif assured that the incoming government would focus on revitalizing the economy, recognizing its pivotal role in addressing national challenges.
