COAS Commends ASP Syeda Shehrbano for Heroic Intervention

Rawalpindi: In a commendable display of valor and commitment to duty, ASP Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi received accolades from Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Syed Asim Munir for her courageous act of rescuing a woman from a violent mob in Lahore’s Ichhra Bazaar.

During a meeting held on Wednesday, COAS Gen Munir lauded Assistant Superintendent of Police  (ASP) Naqvi’s swift and professional handling of a tense situation, which ultimately resulted in the successful extraction of the woman from the chaotic environment prevailing in the market.

A statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) highlighted ASP Naqvi’s fearless demeanor as she navigated through the challenging circumstances at Ichhra Bazaar on February 26. Her exemplary conduct not only averted potential harm to the woman but also contributed to restoring order amidst the charged atmosphere.
